Angela C. Pavon-Cruz was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currently lives in Milwaukee. She was born May 6, 2000 and she is currently 18 years old. She graduated from St. Joan Antida high school and will be attending Marquette Universityin the Fall of 2018. She plans to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer in order to help families that undergo immigrant separation. She likes going to horse races and seeing the adrenaline the horse have as they run to the finish line while she sells dried meat to all the people who enjoy going to horse races. Angela is mainly inspired by what is going on when creating her art and also the places that she sees on car rides to many different places far away from home. She is mostly into the Impressionism Movement and she loves their art work and the colors that are and were used for this movement. Angie mainly uses canvas and acrylic for her projects and art pieces that she creates. Sometimes she uses collage, watercolor, ebony and charcoal for her art pieces too. Angela does art mainly because it takes away her stress and lets her relax when she is stressed or when she has a lot of work to do and this gives her a second to relax and after creating art she goes back to doing her projects and school work much more relaxed and she has found out that she accomplishes more. Lately in her second to last semester in high school she has grown a passion for using art to express social justice issues. She has been working on different types of art such as clay and lino prints. Outside of school and creating art she also spends a lot of time with her friends at different places and enjoys her teenage years.
